A New Layout is in the Wind

The long awaited Outdoor “G” Scale Rail Road (Garden Railroad) is in full swing. Three of the five planned loops are running. One will be for battery only The others will be electrically powered tracks so members can bring their trains from home and run them. The front of the layout will have a brick walkway with a rock retaining wall similar to the one the 7 ½ railroad team built. The layout will be elevated two feet or more above the current ground level. We are also planning to have a mountain, water fall, river, and several tunnels and trestles.   (more info)
