2013 Top 10 Summer Yards
Contest

(Pick your top 10 and come to the Oct. 19th BBQ to vote.)
If you've seen the perfectly groomed yard in our community, or
you yourself have the perfectly groomed yard, please submit a
nomination for the address.
To nominate a yard, you can submit the information here online.
Please fill out the form below. You may also email your nomination
to Surveys@TucsonCountryCrossing.com
or mail it to TCCHOA. And yes, you can nominate your own
yard.
Pictures are not required, but if you have some you can email
them to Surveys@TucsonCountryCrossing.com.
Rules/Guidelines

Only front yards are eligible, as
backyards are not normally visible to the public.

Only homes within the TCCHOA
community are eligible for the contest and prizes.

Nomination deadline is the 18th of
Oct. 2013.

If less than 10 nominations comes
in, the Top 10 Summer Yards committee can scout for others.
-
Yard must look good for at least one
full week during the contest period. (April-Sept) Pictures
from prior to April 1, 2013 are not eligible.
-
Top 10 Winners will be selected by
attendees at the October 19th BBQ.
The following criteria
should be considered when nominating or voting.
--No weeds.
--Driveway properly maintained and free of oil stains or spots.
--Street area in front of the residence properly maintained and free
of oil stains or spots.
--Shrubs and trees properly maintained and manicured.
--Walkways, gates, walls and landscaping decorations properly
maintained.
--House exterior properly maintained in accordance with HOA CC&Rs.
--Landscaping properly coordinated with aesthetics of the house.
--No visible clutter in the yard.
--Trash receptacles properly maintained.
--House numbers visible and properly maintained.
--Overall aura of cleanliness and neatness.
--Variety of colors incorporated in the landscaping design.

Winner signs will be posted in the
front yards though June.

1st place: $125 Gift Certificate
toward any front yard maintenance

2nd place: $100 Gift Certificate
toward any front yard maintenance

3rd place: $75 Gift Certificate
toward any front yard maintenance

4th place: $50 Gift Certificate
toward any front yard maintenance

5th - 10th honorable mention: $25
Gift Certificate from Home Depot
The Top 10 Yard Contest is intended to inspire and recognize the
efforts of residents in the TCCHOA community who add beauty to the
neighborhood with the overall appearance of their property. In an
effort to increase participation in the contest, the HOA awards Gift
Certificates ranging from $25 to $125 .
Sponsors: Would you like some cheap
publicity? Donate a gift worth $25-100 for our Top 10 Yard contest.
Your company will be mentioned on our website as the sponsor and in
the gift announcement. You will also be listed on our Business List page. The winners are
featured on our website, so you will get years worth of notoriety.
