Would like an option to pay dues online.

I think it's a great website for residents and is well planned.

Post minutes of Board meetings on website.

How strictly should parking rules be enforced?  Currently, our CC&R's ask residents to park only in the garage on on the concrete driveway slab. "Temporary" street parking is permitted if the vehicle is pulled over the curb at lease half way off the street.

4
Parking should be strictly enforced to only the garage or on the driveway slab.
12
The current parking policy as outlined above is a fair balance.
2
Parking should not be restricted. Let people park wherever they want.

Parking in the garage or driveway slab is normal. Parking next the driveway should be permitted only if an extended concrete slab is installed, otherwise it would be considered parking in the yard. Temporary street parking permitted on the street only. We have rocks to the curb the same as other homeowners in the TCC community. Others have stones to the curb and we all consider them part of the landscape. We are aware they cover the right of way of utility companies and it would be our responsibility to remove the obstructions in order for the utility to work.  Parking over the curb and halfway off the street is degrading to the community. Parking completely past the curb is the same as parking in the yard which is obvious as several homes. The homes to the south of TCC across the south wash have curbing and sidewalks but vehicles are parked up over the obvious curb and mar the sidewalks with tire marks and oil stains. It would be appalling to have our neighborhoods begin to look as such. Street parking does make the road narrower but the road is not a speedway, therefore drivers should be traveling at slow rate at all times whether there are cars parked in the street or not. Also, children run into the street from between the cars and a tragedy could occur.  I recommend more speed limit signs be installed on the streets and not only at the entrance ways. My comments are to enlighten the homeowners that the presentation of their property tells visitors the respect they have for the TCC Community and their neighbors.

(Note: The National Fire Code restricts parking on streets as narrow as ours to one side of the street.  To be in compliance, we could post "No Parking, Fire lane" signs along one side of each street.  But which side?  Half of the homeowners would be allowed to park on the street in front of their homes and the other half would not. Requiring vehicles on both sides of the street to pull at least half way off the street leaves the required fire access space while being fair to all homeowners.)

Parking rules? For the past 2 years a car is parked Monday - Friday sometimes Saturday 8:00-5:00 in front of ().  The car belongs to (), they have extended their driveway but still need street parking. It makes it difficult for garbage pickup and traffic.

Driveways are too small for trucks or vehicles and should be permitted to park along the side of the street.

Cars should be cited when not on their own property. We have issues with our neighbors, in terms of their visitors will park halfway on the street and halfway on our property.

The parking rules are tough to enforce as many residents have at least three vehicles. Some of the vehicles are parked across from the owners house and that causes a street congestion/narrowing. These people should find another way to park and not block the street view. This is apparent near the south pool entrance. I personally park my vehicle as high upon the from the street as possible so as to not obscure the roadway. My neighbor also does the same with their vehicle. My concern is not so much with the parking issue but with the speed issue as it seems that people are increasing their speed in the neighborhood. Speed humps would be a valuable asset to us.

Call for 2011 Board nominees.
[  ] Put me on the ballot for the 2011 Board of Directories
[12] Not this time
Board elections will be at the Annual Meeting on Monday February 7th, 2011.

Call for Entrance Sign volunteers.  We are hoping to reduce the costs of the new entrance sign by utilizing volunteer help from within the community. Let us know if you would like to be notified of the work days.

Yes, I'd like to help [2]          Notify me, I'll try to stop by [3]         No thanks [8]

Comments:

Is anything going to be done about garbage cans in front and side yards; left on driveway slabs; or left @ curbside for days after pickup. I realize holidays mess up pickup days

What's the status on the Neighborhood Watch program? (On hold. Not enough volunteers.)

What kind of help is needed for the entrance sign? Can that be listed on the website? (Yes)

Unfortunately, the value of our homes have been depreciated to an unbelievable low, and we have too many foreclosures in our development. It's important that we care about the  maintenance of our homes and property, pool areas, street cleanliness, etc. to enhance our community.

Please make fonts bigger, hard to read.

Keep working on neighborhood appearance. Neighborhood is declining.

Too much parking on the street and "in" yards. I've seen six cars all in a row at several spots in the neighborhood which happens when the two driveway spots are used and the homeowners then use the area beside the driveway to park another vehicle as do their next door neighbors. Other homeowners are parking randomly in their yards, sideways on at an angle. Unfortunately, being lax regarding the where and how many cars can be parked regularly at home has made for a really messy look in certain areas. And what about parking on the street all the time, even when there is room in his driveway?

Thanks for including the survey.

I have been a resident of the community for over 20 years and think that we have a good place to live. However my wife's concern is that traffic in the neighborhood has become fast and dangerous. The intersection of Albatross and Wood Owl has no stop sign and most people that I have observed slow down but do not stop as the make a right turn. Most are on a cell phone or just not paying attention. I believe that a speed hump is necessary as well as a stop sign at and near the intersection. What has to be done for this to happen?

We are new to this area, we used to live at countryside community off condor, and we missed it very much We have 2 boys and 2 girls who attend Degracia Elementry and do Chess club and tutoring, Our 5 year old does ballet We are members of The cotarro Vista Community Church, so we were looking for somewhere close and found our perfect house on blackbird dr. We attended the summer BBQ and we felt so comfortable, Everyone just made us feel right at home. We came to the Oct 1st BBQ as well but unfortunately we didn't stay. I have family who live in Oro valley wanting to move closer in to town. We will be sure to tell them about this Area Its a very nice Area and a very great place for children and families. Thanks for all your hospitality and making me and my family feel so welcome! =)
